Rocky Mountain House 600

Great tour of the foothills and mountains. Calgary, Cochrane, Canmore, Lake Louise, Saskatchewan Crossing, Nordegg, Rocky Mountain House, Sundre, Cochrane, Calgary.

There have been suggestions to ride the route counter-clockwise, which might give one more luck with the wind. Clockwise, a sleep-stop in RMH (~420km) is usual. Counter-clockwise, one would probably want to stop in Lake Louise. It is a good idea to co-ordinate with other participants to share a hotel room.

It is possible for the Google maps to be off; please use the directions as the offical route.

Stopping for some water from one of the many run-off creeks along the side of the road; Crowfoot is in the background, so we're close to Bow Summit.
