This brevet is in the same region as the Olds 200, with some modification. It runs counterclockwise, and eliminates the flat, high traffic 2A north of Calgary. Instead it cuts up through the middle of that rectangle on rolling, rural roads.
All the significant climbs come in the last half of the ride, with a total elevation gain of 5,810'. For comparison the Okotoks 200 climbs 6,158'. The Wildrose climbs are in the 6-7% range, the Okotoks hills can be 9-10% grade.
Two factors to be aware of for the Wildrose are those hills (so do some training in preparation) and the distances between services (68, 26, 52 and 61 km). Being a new route, I think it is worth your consideration.
