Join the Google Group<\/h2>\n

Add yourself to the group in order to get inter-club communication. In this way, a club member will be able to send out notices to the whole group. We will also attach the odd information file that we don’t wish to put on the web. If you don’t have a google account (Gmail, Blogger, etc.) follow these instructions:<\/p>\n

  1. go to groups.google.com<\/li>\n
  2. Click on “Sign In” at the top right of page<\/li>\n
  3. click on “create an account now” middle of right side of page<\/li>\n
  4. follow instructions on screen (note: you can use any email – doesn’t have to be a Gmail account)<\/li>\n
  5. once your account is created follow the instructions below using your email and password<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you already have a google account (Gmail, Blogger, etc.) follow these instructions:<\/p>\n

    1. go to groups.google.com<\/li>\n
    2. Click on “Sign In” at top right of page<\/li>\n
    3. enter your Gmail email and password<\/li>\n
    4. Enter a nickname (i.e., A screen name – “Ken M”, “Vik B” etc.)<\/li>\n
    5. you’ll have to log in again using your Gmail email and password<\/li>\n
    6. enter “Alberta Randonneurs” into the search box and click on “search for group”<\/li>\n
    7. click on “Alberta Randonneurs” when the search results come back<\/li>\n
    8. click on “Join this group” at the right side of the screen<\/li>\n
    9. select your email option from a list. Either “Digest Email” (all of day’s emails in one msg) or “Email” (each msg in separate email) are recommended.<\/li>\n
    10. You can edit your nickname at this time.<\/li>\n
    11. click “join this group”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
